Miscellaneous Belief Systems

So, believing in God looks a bit suspect.  It is not really worth discussing religions as you have to believe in God before you decide which church to go to.  The god of science is unreliable.  Belief in nothing seems a bit desolate.  And Buddhism and the Church of England seem like cop-outs.  What's the answer?

Easy.  Weirdo-stuff.  Cosmic ordering (Noel Edmonds...), crystals, wicca, new-age tree-worship, or the rice-pudding god.  

Errr - no!   Are we so desperate to believe in something  - anything?!

I hope it doesn't seem that MG is just slagging everyone off and not offering a positive recommendation.  At least I hope it doesn't seem that way...
